This is truly incredible. What good is a Works Council when it allows this kind of thing to happen? Aren't they supposed to have everyone's rights in mind? Clearly, there is a solidified management cadre at this agency, and everyone kowtows to them, probably to cover their own backs. It makes my blood boil. And who could blame you for not wanting to go to court, especially after you already suffered from a permanent hearing loss?
This scenario is so often the reality of women in the workplace.
