This is all so true. As a writer, I always remind myself that it is the act of writing and the interaction with other writers that I must enjoy, since getting published is uncertain.

I also had to laugh at the comment about not knowing when the waiting will end. I had this experience with my pregnancies as both babies were two weeks overdue. It was like waiting for a dinner guest...but not knowing when they were going to arrive.

Except it was worse, since no dinner guest would arrive at night - and if they did, that would be the last time I would invite them!

This article was an injection of reality back into the process of achieving so many things. Thanks for the reminder!
