This article nailed it. One item that particularly struck a nerve was when people don't acknowledge an achievement that you've just shared. Not interrupting, etc. are more obvious disrespectful behaviors, but this lack of acknowledgement is much more subtle and very hurtful. You are full of excitement and share a piece of good news and then the other person nods and changes the subject - this is devastating.
