I had to smile (a lot) at the remark at how much easier it is to read about being a better writer than to actually write! Such a simple truth but worth being reminded of. And another simple truth about becoming a writer: if you only do it when you feel like - and not on your off days - you won't succeed. After all, most of us have put in all kinds of grueling days for other people's companies - we should be able to do it for ourselves!
